yeah pretty much.. even if you dont see any cracks with your eyes the head still can have cracks in it.. if your curious to see how bad the head is you can take it in and have it magnafluxed.. it will show every little crack in the head lol.. yeah doesnt sound like the head gasket... but then again you will really know once you remove the head.. so good luck man.
