meh... i couldnt afford the down time... i just put a pushed up the one offending corner of the gas tank. so i now should have enough clearance to run my axle-back exhaust. i had to trim the plastic rock sheild and the aluminum heat sheild for the stock muffler that mounted right next to the tank.

now on my exhaust, i just need to fabricate a heat sheild to mount to the exhaust itself... its gonna be ICEE!!!!
