that will fuck the shaft up, which in turn will cut the seals inside the strut. Rendering it worthless. You can use an impact to get the nut off. with the impact on the nut and you holding the shaft(either by hand or by padded pliers) it will come off. Looks like he has koni's so no allen key needed. You might be able to get a spark plug socket on the big one and a 1/4" drive socket on the other with an extension going though the plug socket.
