If you are hearing a noise after you release the clutch in neutral, then you indeed have a sticking throwout bearing and need to pull the tranny off, inspect and replace the neccessary clutch parts...You need to check for overheating of the clutch disc and the pressure plate...Replace the throwout bearing for sure...If the clutch is not slipping, then you don't need to replace the clutch disc...

Thanks Zee for the advice. It looks like I will have to be doing some work on my car then to replace the throwout bearing. Luckily the clutch is not slipping so I dont have to worry about replacing the clutch disc right now.
