matte,and flatt is the same.now you have diffenert shades.for one you have gloss,semi gloss,egg shell,and last,but not lease is flat.i have done them all and this stuff does have uv protection.and i warrenty the joob for as long as you own the car.there is on such thing as a orange peel matte finish.and the trash is minmal if any,cuz it dries so quick.so if you or any one else is innterested in doing a job like this,then by all mean's do it.i had a forum on here(STREETDREADM'Z)but i have then changed the name of the shop.it's now A.R.
