Actually wear numbers, and actual wear, in diffrent conditions are not consistent. tread block size and tire construction have much more to do with wear moreso if the tire is driven at or near the limit.
I've found high treadwear tires actually wear faster (for me) since instead of pealing off on the pavement the tires chunk or powder off and this can cause a high UTOG tire to wear out.. not to mention a sliding tire will always wear faster then a gripping tire.
