yeah, it was all screwed up. first off, i thought the #4 cyl was the #1 cyl, so that is what i set the distro to and the TDC, however i did not even check to see if it was on the compression or exhaust stroke.
i pulled it in the garage and worked on it. a lot easier at home with the air tools, it went pretty quick.
got TDC on the #1 cylinder, if you cant tell whether its the comp or exhaust stroke, cut a finger off the rubber glove. put it over spark plug hole and wait until it starts to inflate. then you know you are good. lined up the top end, and assembled. made sure timing was spot on this time.
had it running in a couple hours. i dont know what i was thinking the other day when i put it together.
