The problem with self tapping screws is that they holes they make are never painted or sealed in any way, and they rust.

Zipties are inexcusable for attaching a body kit. Plastic zipties don't get close to the strength of nuts and bolts, not to mention the holes never line up the way they were meant to, so fit and finish sucks.
