If you are asking...
Mid day meet....$1 dogs....$2 Burgers ...all you can eat $3.
50/50 drawing to cover some expenses and a few cheapo door prizes....
Held on a non-conflicting Sat or Sunday and post it 2 months in advance.....maybe tie it in with another meet and make Vortex the meetup point for a rollout to the second meet....with a map...and directions...and post up some pics to generate interest for the next one.........
Some people have a tough time falling out of bed in the AM when their Red Bull-soaked body hit the sack at dawn after a night of cars, alcohol, crap-talking, and debauchery of teenage women, .............or maybe instead, they wasted the previous night on something unimportant ...

As for me.....
When I left Vortex, I went to the Lady Fuel meet/greet and it was a great meet.
I know at least I had a good time.....cold, yes...good time, yes. We did not have a lot doing the roll out from Vortex's Auto Cafe
......one reason....there were not a lot of people attending Auto Cafe...a few die hard meet enthusiasts...., and they were BMW/Mercedes/High Dollar cars, a few Mazda's........
I saw some neat sound system installs from Sound Designs, a Spec racer
Mustang from the Ford Racing Miller Cup, A Delorean, NSX and a bunch of Porsches.....
At Lady Fuel's Meet/Greet, I met some people I had seen at other meets recently, The concrete was chaulk-tagged by Nena, Molly, Camilla, Tati, Hannah, Jammine, Pooky, Evelyn, Emily, Mili from Orlando and Tampa was J Rich, Frost, Jess, Kendra, Nicole, Danny,Aron, Drew.......a lot of people were in a good mood and joking around, and we donated something or kicked in something to cover expenses.
It was a little cold, plenty of food, burgers were a lot better than the burgers-in-a-box, and my compliments to the chef......buddy, the next meet will be warmer maybe 2-3 months from now....... The guys who were looking for something to complain about never showed....

...a blessing in disguise....
------------------------------------
Leaving the meet My car died.....thought it was ignition, so I swapped
over the wiring to the OEM coil....turned out to be a dead fuel pump.....
the A-parts store gave me the wrong one, and the time taken to get the right one got my car locked up in the park for the night.... LOL....
However, my thanks for the folks who helped me......I owe you one....-Bob
