To whom who may knows about Ford vehicle please help me here: If a 2005 Ford Escape had a severe accident that caused the driver airbag to blow, and If the hit was on the right side- passenger side and there was no body on the passenger seat, should the airbag be blown even though no passenger was on the seat?? The hit was so strong that the passenger side door was buckled. If anyone have any experience on the mechanism of how airbag should work on Ford Escape 2005 specifically, please contact me on PM. I have pictures for the accident so if it's needed to have an idea what I'm talking about.
