The installation of this unit was fairly simple, took about 30 minutes. Getting it setup was another story. I had some problems initially and thought there was something wrong with the controller. The directions were wrong in some places and I spent about 3 hours researching on honda-tech and this board trying to find a solution (thanks John, aka Vapor for your help on Sat). I found a lot of posts from people having the same problems as I was. I am convinced this is due to the directions being very vague and sometimes flat out wrong.
The unit sometimes would not go above 5psi, then at other times I hit 20psi! I shut it down when that happened and that is when I started my research... I found out that the vacuum line at the bottom of my wastegate needed to go to the intake manifold and the other line at the top of the wastegate needed to go to the boost solenoid. After the lines were hooked up properly, I was controlling my boost from inside my car in no time. After some testing, I set my gain to 20% and my start boost to 8psi (for the LO setting).
I must say this is one of the nicest and simplest (once you get it going) electronic boost controllers I have ever used. It works very well and I have had no boost spikes at all (yet). I highly recommend getting this controller and saving the extra money you would normally spend on a more expensive one..
