Dot 4 is good but only means a MINIMUM of 446 degrees boiling point.. the racing fluids we use start in excess of 600 degrees dry boiling point which gives a lot more headroom in severe braking situations. most everything we use is DOT 5.1 which is compatable with older ABS systems (unlike DOT5) and older fluids. but we only charge $79 including racing fluid.
