From what mokey said, it isn't very difficult or time consuming convert the unit to SR, i do agree with you on the fact that bypass valves are crap. I do also think that it's not necessarily worth the extra $$ for the CAI, hence my saying that if it was REASONABLY priced to get it. I personally have an SR and i don't have any complaints, but i think it all boils down to what you have to spend, and what you are trying to accomplish.
