i have a feeling that hes talking abouth the threading on the end of the lens. like for filters and shit cause im pretty sure the kit lens from cannon is 58mm thread and my kit lens is 52mm (nikon)
they make those cheap ones that fit onto the end of your lens. like $40 on ebay.
yeah i apologize, your correct, but i thought that was what size my camera took, not looking for a filter but an actual lens and Thanks Michael, i will check those out i need to read some more. Ive had a Point and Shoot all my life. I love my new Canon and am trying to read threads and books to understand all its features. So do all lenses work with each other? like nikon on canon and so on? or is there a type or size that they specifically take?
