I agree that perception doesn't always equal reality, and that the placebo effect can be a bitch. That doesn't mean when I say it works, that it's all in my head because you disagree.
And, turning my name and enthusiasm for this into some sort of internet conspiracy is insulting and hilarious at the same time. I talked with the guy in that FA thread after he had concluded his own experiments. His findings were already documented before I was involved. If anything, that thread only serves my point, that 2 separate tests came to the same conclusion.
Since we're dismissing all scientific arguements now, lets recap what's left:
ME: I know, due to my own use, that this stuff makes a qualitative difference in the chassis.
YOU: Have no experience with the subject and made up your mind based on internet readings.
PS: The RX8 handling pack includes a foam filled front crossmember.
Nope not a psychologist either. Just a realist.
Pssh. You know I'm not trying to insult you, don't try and turn it into that sorta stupid argument. I just think too many kids read your words as thought they were some sort of laws of 240sx physics. "If Epstein says it, it must be true!"
I can disagree with you and not be insulting you
And great, we now have
one OEM application of the stuff for performance gains. High five I guess?
The placebo effect is a bitch, and without some sort better data to back it up other than a couple guys' butt dynos claiming to have huge gains in chassis performance, I'm still going to have to agree to disagree. Especially since other guys with different (well calibrated?

) butt dynos are getting different results.
