Some more questions I have been receiving I would like to share.

great car, I am interested in buying it. how are the tires? and describe the transmission trouble a little better.

all 4 tires 225/45/15 (kumho ecsta) have 85%+ tread left and are less than 6 months old.

"Basically, there is a spring in your transmission that pushes on a pin that pushes on your shifter to make it return to the center from 5th gear. This pin sits in a bushing that has some sort of (teflon?) coating on it. The original coating was defective, and would absorb oil and expand slightly over very long periods of time, causing the pin to get stuck in the bushing. To fix it, you have to remove the old bushing and replace it with a new one with a different coating on it. Unfortunately, this requires removing the transmission. This kit includes a new bushing, a cover lid (available separately as 23311224825), and a lock ring (available separately as 23317531374).

Most people complain about problems with 5th gear, but technically, reverse is also affected, so as long as you're going through all the trouble, you should probably order two of the kits, and replace the bushings for both 5th and reverse.
