It may help to stress to your parents (or your uncle
) that this is a driver training event that will help you learn valuable skills that would take years to learn in regular street driving.
As one who was involved in seven auto accidents (most of which were my fault) between ages 16 and 19, I really wish that such opportunities were presented to me when I was younger.
