We recently had a (LS)2K on the dyno. The car put down ~600whp. The car had a stock LS2 motor/200 shot and went 9s. I think he spent around the same amount. (5K)
If it wasnt for friends (you know who you are) helping with part sourcing, this project wouldve never happened !
