Default LOL HJC America, wow

This is going to require a small amount of reading; I sent this email to HJC:

About 6 months ago I purchased a CL-15 that was great at first but has begun giving me problems. For the last month or so the visor has been hard to get up because it was pulling one of the ends out of the helmet unless I put pressure with my other hand on the pivot point to actually hold the track assembly into the side of the helmet.

For the last week or so the helmet goes up with ease, but literally takes two hands to put the visor down, now it's binding on the side opposite of the previous problem. The visor doesn't lock anymore, so when I ride the air comes up under the visor and blasts me in the eyes, and if it's raining rain comes in from the top.

I read the FAQ and tried adjusting but it didn't work. Perhaps I didn't do it right; however, it doesn't seem very complicated. The tab is in the track as well.

Also, one of the vents on the top has gained the ability to move side to side as well as front to back and I'm worried it won't be too long before it just falls off completely.

The helmet has never been down or dropped and I take pretty good care of it.

What can I do to resolve this issue? Minimizing downtime is very important to me as I don't have a car and ride everyday, rain or shine, irregardless of the temperature. If it is time to purchase a new helmet I will more than likely go with a different brand as my experience so far has been sub-par.

Thanks,
Ryan Crowson

Seriously!?

I want to see what you guys think about this; all I'm gonna say for now is...

...it doesn't say much for the integrity of a product when the manufacturer's suggestion for "repair" involves the use of super glue or double sided tape; Jesus fn Christ, it's time for a new helmet!
