The 60lb and 80lb injectors are high impedence, drop in replacements. Any factory ecu can run them.

As for a limit to the stock ecu, there aren't many. You can currently buy 96lb high impedance injectors (link below), and if you need something bigger, you can always add a driver module for about $250. Then you can run the big boys (160lb+).

For a Ford EEC, you will need a MAF sensor that is adequate. You can currently buy off the shelf MAF sensors that will support 1000-1200hp. More is easily doable, but it will need some special attention.

Probably the only real 'limit' to the Ford EEC is RPM. The A9L I have heard will tap out around 7500RPM. You can install a high frequency crystal and get a little more out of it, I'm not sure how much.

I am pretty sure the new generation PCM's in the 2005+ Mustangs could blow past 7500 RPM without blinking. In the case of those PCM's, there is no real limit to what you could run with it.
