KJ pretty much summarized what I was going to suggest.

Lexan/Polycarb windows (plexiglass is not reccomended and does not cold form w/o shattering) can save you a bit here and there and realistically, I would only do this if you were going to take the guts of the doors out.

All else fails, turn it into a convertable.
