The saturn explanation is independent of tire size. You're not understanding BSFC.
Comparing one car to another does not make sense. More than likely, the two cars do not have identical tuning/modifications/driving.
More than likely its a real world situation that actually happend.
My car and chris's car where pretty much the same mechanically. I had an exhuast 3" exhaust with the silencer in it so it that negated any real performance gain.
Sweet picture though.
