I'm going to go out on a limb and say 410hp from a 5.0 liter isnt going to be boost friendly in stock trim, or atleast not like previous motors. If you want to compare similar motors look up the 5.0L V8 in the ISF because they are probably similar in over all design.

I know ford has been working on this motor for a few years now, and the fact that its a DOHC all aluminum V8 with twin variable valve timing says alot about they're progress towards a more updated V8

Only downside I see to this is that aftermarket parts (Cams mostly) are still going to cost alot more than the LSx motors due to there being more crap. But if this motor is anything like some of the german small bore V8's it just takes an exhuast and a little tuning to gain 50+hp
