OH MY GOD!!! i think it is time for somebody to set the record straight on this pos.

-it's a 94 1.8 black eclipse.
-it has bad rear shocks...really bad. so bad that when you run over any bump the car rocks up and down for a good 10 seconds...no lie.
-the cv joints are bad...click, click, click.

-those are the only things about this car that he mentioned. however, here's the rest:

-it has a cracked windshield (almost all the way across the windshield). the hood flew up on the car and smashed the windshield. the hood that is on it now is from another car and misaligned. the front fenders are also misaligned. there is a dent about the side of a softball in the door. the paint is crap. the exhaust is in two pieces (seperated at the catalytic converter from rust) and as a result it is as loud as a harley...NO LIE. it is missing a couple of interior panels and has no AC, but it does have a non-functioning AC compressor in the hatch. the struts for the hatch are bad (not a surprise). the passenger side dash (right above the glove compartment) peeled all the way off and was reattached with a screw. there is a reverb in shifting cables (possibly from exhaust vibration). two of the speakers are blown.
oh, and HE DOESN'T HAVE THE TITLE. he tells me that he'll "overnight" the title to me the next day after he gets it from his father who he told me worked at Disney World...graveyard shift...
-i was very serious in purchasing this car in august because my transmission went in my 93 mitsu eclipse gs and i needed a car for school. i drove all the way up to orlando from largo (about one hour and ten minutes) with 675 cash in hand (that's what we had negotiated as the sale price). when i got there i found out that he had LIED or left out necessary info about the car both on another site he had posted the car and through AIM with me. however, i still needed a car and i made that long trip, so i offered him 575...he called somebody and said that he couldn't take less than 600. i couldn't do it, so i drove home pissed off.

-note: he sent me several pics of the car, both exterior and interior...but they are pictures at dusk and from about 30 ft away and make the car look immaculate when it is point blank the epitomy of a POS...trust me on this guys, don't give him any more than the 600 he was going to sell it to me for, although i don't think it's even worth that much.
