S13 has a smaller wheel tub and less room, and my coils are maxed out w/ no collars so the spring sits lower. I'm not having a lot of trouble, its just a close fit. Everyone I know w/ s13s that ran 17x9 +20 fns ran a 215/45 and I did before, but wanted to go 225/45 all around.
i have no problems with a 9" +22 and a 235 tire.
but jics apparently have alot of clearance/ small diameter spring.
