Default Chrysler New Yorker

Ok, so my girlfriend and I just got her a car. Its a 1992 Chrysler New Yorker with the 3.3 V6 in it. Now, are there any common problems slight issues or anything of that nature that I should be aware of? I want to make sure its in tip top shape for when the mods start.

Also, can you guys give me some links on where the best places to get parts are? Im looking for a full exhaust kit. It has to be right around 5 inches, anything less is going to be too quiet. I want one of those really clean body kits too. The car is kind of boxy now so I want to tighten it up and make it look a little more modern. Maybe something with some seriously swoopy curves. The spoiler has to be a good size too as Im planning on putting a supercharger AND a turbocharger on it. Early estimates say I should be putting about 1300 hp to the rear tires so I need to keep it on the ground at high speeds.

Another thing, I have seen people take cars and turn them into convertibles. How does that work? Would I be able to just take a sawzall to it and cut the top off while leaving the windshield frame on? It has to be cheap because we dont have very much money. I know autozone has the big exhaust tips but I think theirs only goes up to 4 inches and its not the complete kit. I dont want too much obstructions because I have to have room to put in the spark plugs so I can put the flamethrowers on it too.

Thanks in advance for the help guys.
