i've heard nothing but good things about the road ct2s. only thing would be the turn it wouldn't be as easy, but that doesn't mean they won't turn it, it just takes a little more effort.

one guy that used to work at cycle gear says he used them as rain tires on his race bike. so pretty much give it hell man, the tires will be fine. i wouldn't trail brake into corners very hard on them when they are still cold, and wouldn't go full throttle on exit as early as on the softer tires, but mid corner roll thru i couldn't give a 2nd thought.
