I have a question. With everything said Is a Mustang gt, cobra, rouche sp?? etc.. etcc considered a sports car even though it has luxary options and can also sit 4 comfortable???? What about a camaro??? that can sit four people too. My first RX-7 i purchased 10 years ago was a automatic 2+2 model. It wasn't considered a sports car. Insurance catigorized it as a sports coupe. Not sports car. As with my other 3 RX-7's that were strictly 2 seater RWD. insurance placed it under sports coupe. In 1991 I think the gtu model and gxl model rx-7's were merged and were called sports coupe from mazda. Same with my 2001 mercury cougar. I bought the ZN model. it was a 2dr coupe. FWD and it was labeled a sports coupe. Is a Ford Probe a sports car??

4DR SPORTS CARS yes or no???

Audi R8 spyder??? sits four.
Mazda rx-8??? sits four.
Maseradi grancabrio?? sits four
Ford mustang?? sits four
Chevy camaro?? sits four

or how about a mustang base model v6 or a 4cyl turbo svo??
