basically im going to be getting my first bike pretty soon(planning to only spend around 2000 or so on it..

just lookin for opinions on what i should be lookin for in this price range..definitely sport bike but what kind brands to stay away from etc...

i dont need you to do all my research for me..i plan to do all that myself but if u have some info stored in that head of yours like ie (stay away from 1997gsxr's cause their trannys go out) or something along those lines id appreciate it..

ill still do more research like said just would like help narrowing it down..theres really a lot of choices even in this price range that ive seen

another thing is mileage..whats considered high mileage for a bike??..i know they dont usually get driven near as much as cars but i dont see why they couldnt last a really long time if taken care of..so just curious on that..
