And the GSR and the LS ys1 transmissions are functionally identical, meaning everything is swapable (gears are swapable in pairs, main shaft+counter shaft) The GSR transmission just has shorter gears. Have you ever installed a phantom grip on your car? Or are you just going by what you hear on the internet? Ive got a car with an OEM lsd and my phantom grip grabs just as hard as that. I think the people that have problems didnt install it properly. CFT ran a phantom grip in their 9 second hatch, Skunk2 runs a phantom grip in their 9 second RSX.
