It pretty hard to get quick times out of the Focus. Its not a hp issue but a tranny issue. These cars dont have a quick tranny at all. focussport got their ZX-3 into the 14s but the thing isnt a daily driver. Some guys on the focus board were talking about changing the final drive ratio. It makes about 1/2 second difference in 1/4 mile times.

I am dissapointed in the quickness of the Focus but love its handling characteristics.
