Unfortunately the tC doesn't have a great plug and play engine management, a lot of r&d done or efficient turbo kits, yet

Perhaps I can help bring some more light onto this as I have been around the F/I side of the tC since the first turbo kit came out. You are a little bit right, but perhaps you should clarify on what you are calling stock block. If you are simply referring to a Non-sleeved motor, then yes it's stout. 900+whp without sleeves in Chris Rado's Time Attack car. Their 6sec FWD drag car does not have sleeves in it either.

If you are referring to stock block as meaning stock motor, then no. 350-400whp is about your limit before the rod/pistons fail on you.

What you are "completely" wrong about though is 1) Turbo kits, and 2) Engine management.

PTuning is the current and repeat champs in Modified FWD Time Attack (2008-2009 champs). The turbo kit they designed and engineered on their Time Attack tC is what they sell for the average guy. Let me tell you, It's by far the best Kit for a tC and is engineered to perform. EL manifold, 3 inch down pipe, blow thru setup, Water/MI bung pre-welded on, etc...

In terms of Management, do you not concider an AEM EMS, Hydra, and now PTuning offers the Haltech EMS.....as good Engine Management? As those are all available to us. And no, not talking universal ones (aside from the AEM unit). The Hydra and the Haltech have specific units for the tC. I was previously boosted, and sold that kit because of PTuning. They will be my new source of F/I for the tC, as I'm in the middle of my Time Attack build presently. I have sorted out the suspension and almost done, aero aids are done, now just need to re-boost it with the PTuning goodness. Check out PTuningScion.com for more details on their kit and what they offer for us Race/Hardcore dudes.

PS....MTuned does know what he is talking about, no theorizing necessary.
