I would not go with the 5.4L, why would you? Its only got decent tq, the hp is not that great. What motor you should use depends on what you want. If you just want to run a fast 1/8mile than maybe the 5.4 would be fine. But if you want alot of hp I would go with a 4.6L modular with forged internals.
