The car is faster now and I am still running the same short block, and can drive the car anywhere. I'm not saying it is easy you just have to be willing to work at it...
Not trying start to doubt you or start an arguement but I just wanna get a clear picture??
Stock 302 block .030 over, Flat tops, steel rods, stock crank, .550 lift cam running 6.82@ 102? Please list the top end of the motor; heads, intake and MAF equipment used? Which Tranny and rear end gear?
And on post #66 you said the car went 10.20 @131 BUT that was with a Head change and Carb conversion? What did it run with the EFI setup that ran 6.80 1/8ths? I'm asking cause I think you built this motor about 16 years too late, Local Pinellas guy Dan Flowers held the National 5.0 EFI Steet Stock record in the Fun Ford Weekend Series for a time in the early 90's with a 12.19, and depending on the heads, intake etc.. your combo was probably similar to his! That time would be about a 7.70-7.80 1/8th so you'd have him covered by almost a Full second in the 660? Damm!
