hello fellow Bradenton-er! As far as any meets are concerned.. there are a few specialty groups that meet around the area. There's a VW group 'Dubocracy' that meets Saturday nights @8 on University Pkwy in the Best Buy parking lot.

Also, on the other side of the Parkway, over near BJ's and Leroy Selmons, is 'Team After Hours'. Not sure what time they meet; but I know both the VW club and TAA travel down the road to the Applebees to hangout.

I believe there is also a meet down in Sarasota at the Sarasota Square Mall? Not positive on that though.
You should come to the next JDMUps event @ Bradenton Motor Sports - talk to some of the kids around there and see where they meet. Hope this helps!
