Also with rear disk you wont keep the 90/10 ratio for the brakes. Add a adjustable prop valve and lean on the rears more. Aerospace and Strange has dual rear calipers for looks? Why didnt they do dual front calipers? I mean 90% is the front brakes right? Dont buy stock in EVERYTHING you read on the intraweb
Not true Tommy.

Look at how the 99 - 04 GT brakes are compared to the 94 - 98. They went to the PBR calipers of the Cobra on the same size GT rotors. Why? Larger brake pads dont heat up as quickly as the smaller brake pads. Thats why Fox fronts dont fade as quickly as the 94 - 98 fronts do.

You can only lean the rears so much with out ABS before they lock up and that would throw you into a tail spin. If the rear locks up before the fronts do the car will want to spin around backwards. I had a 76 Cougar that had F'd up brakes like that and once in the rain I had a bad experience like that. Scared the hell out of me. Keeping the majority of the stopping power on the front wheels keeps the car stable.

I will be upgrading my brakes, I dont think the stock fronts will be enough to slow the car down from my intended speeds,.. but I will be keeping the rear as drums. I will not be converting to rear discs on my car right away. Well,.. its not an immediate plan. And if I do convert to rear discs,.. it will more then likely be for bling then for any other reason. I plan to use the front spindles, 13" rotors and PBR calipers from my wife's 96 Cobra on the front of my 93. That should offer plenty of stopping power for me to slow down from my intended trap speeds. I seriously doubt I will have discs on the rear because I need them. I would have them because I want them. I not going to say I will never convert to discs. I cant have you 3 yrs from now telling me,.. See I told you so,.. LoL
