And you can register to vote.
The mayor elect of St. Pete was elected by about 15% of the voters, since only 28% actually got off their butts and voted..nice move.

And because Christians did things 10x worse and on a larger scale than the Muslims BACK THEN, they're suddenly less dangerous? Maybe you need to research the religious wars and killings going on in Ireland right now, between sects of Christianity. Maybe you need to research the Christian terrorists that picket outside of abortion clinics and injure and harass people as they try to enter. Maybe you need to research some of the hate speech that goes on behind closed doors of some of the "churches" of Christianity every day in this country. All religion is dangerous. There is a reason we have seperation of Church and State. The period when Christianity ruled the world was known as the dark ages because it was the single darkest, most horrible age in humanity's history. Fuck religion. Fuck all of it. And fuck the sick, twisted things people do in the name of it.
and maybe you should look at theChristians who responded to those incidents and have almost lost their lives doing it, painting all Christians as bad is a pretty broad brush, and the founding fathers, for the most part believed in God, despite what the historical revisionist would like to say

John Adams

SIGNER OF THE DECLARATION OF INDEPENDENCE; JUDGE; DIPLOMAT; ONE OF TWO SIGNERS OF THE BILL OF RIGHTS; SECOND PRESIDENT OF THE UNITED STATES
The general principles on which the fathers achieved independence were the general principles of Christianity. I will avow that I then believed, and now believe, that those general principles of Christianity are as eternal and immutable as the existence and attributes of God.
