well the 98-99 LS1 cars were a little slower than the 00-02 cars.

an SS comes with factory Ram Air style intake tubing SLP exhaust system SLP sway bar setup I believe and body package as well as other little minor things. They pack the 346 Cu. In. LS1 V8 with either the GM 4L60E Automatic or the Borg-Warner T-56 6 Speed Manual.

The 6 Speeds are a bit faster than the Autos stock but with a converter swap on the autos the Autos gain the edge.

The cars weigh roughly 3600-3800 lbs. The LS1 puts out roughly 285 at the rear wheels stock and some are as far as 295.. (98-99 years.. the new ones are more like 315 RW) and 320? Lbs. TQ.

bone stock the 6 speeds from 98-99 run routine high 12s with a good driver and the autos are low loe 13s. With a 99 and Tq Converter swap I have seen 12.5s. Thats with cold air intake headers catback and converter.. very impressive. Couldnt tell you 0-60 but its damn quick getting there.
