bypass all that crap. I just did it to the front speakers of my rsx when i installed my new components. Just run fresh wires from the location to the deck. Doesnt matter what aftermarket speaker you put in it its still going to sound like poo.

I would do it at the same time as installing your new headunit. Wheni had my double din installed it sounded horrible at high volume because of the bose amp. Now they scream
