you actually want the BOV after the Intercooler. The theory is that the closer the BOV is to the Throttle Body, the less lag between shifts. when the blow off valve opens any air between the TB and the BOV stops, decompresses, and starts to move backwards toward the BOV. when you get back on the throttle the column of air has to be stopped, turned around, and re-accelerated back to the TB. not good for response.
on the other hand the air between the turbo and the BOV just continues to flow through the pipes in the correct direction so when the BOV closes all teh air between the turbo and BOV is moving in the right direction.
so in short
BOV close to turbo (on hot pipe) = BAD
BOV close to Throttle Body = GOOD
