There not bad cars if you take care if them. There just very touchy. I drive my 12sec car all the time. Yeah I have had some problems with it but nothing major. But for a 11yr old car most of it is matnence. The longest i have gone w/out my car was 2 weeks because jerry was out of town and i needed a tranny rebuild. But other than that I have no huge problems w/ it. I love having a 12 sec daily driver. more than 600 mi a week. And all I have to do is keep it mantained.
