An excellent example. Power does not equal sports car. Sports cars arent about straight line speed, thats the territory of muscle cars.
The Mazda Miata is one of the best sports cars, however its terribly slow in a straight line. Why do you think when they made the Mazdaspeed turbo Miata they only bumped the HP from 140 to 175? They tested more power, but it lost the sports balance and felt more like a muscle car according to the engineers.
