Not like they are certified to compete in the showroom stock classes or anything like that. 
True. Anyone who wants a demonstration or wants their brain to drizzle out of their ear in a big heavy domestic Cobra convertable, let me know. Anything (especially a Mustang) with decent aftermarket support can be made to handle. Hell, some don't even have to be modified...look at the Z06 and Cobra R. Both are very potent machines in the hands of skilled drivers.
