I originally planned to change the transmission mount in my car to a poly one that I bought from BMR. I had it staged at the shop to put it in and when I came back to get it and put it in someone had stolen it. It was in Dragin's shop and was Prothane which is fairly rare for the ones used since most people use energy suspension. Well now that I know someone I know has it on their car and never had enough gumption to say hey I really needed it at the time I will replace It I totally forgot about it.

I bought a new one and hopefully will have it soon as it is in the mail. My question here is of the symptons of a mount that has broken. I know that now if I am in a hard take off and let off of the clutch it feels like the whole transmission moves and is dropping down in some way. Is this what happens to the stock ones when they go bad, do they just rip down the middle? I was just curious about how long this could have been this way and gone un-noticed. I have been able to feel the stick move also as if the transmission is jumping around. If anyone has had this experience please let me know if this part was the problem.
