The part did not fail, to be perfectly clear, the arm has surface cracks that are barely noticeable. I wont need an alignment. And this is a relatively isolated incident. From what SPL said last year they got a bad batch of tubing which didnt bend correctly and over time some of the arms would crack. Its not multiple arms its actually only 3.

SPL would only get knocked down if they handled the situation poorly. But they didnt and they never have. Thats what makes the difference. All parts have a chance to fail. Quality control takes care of most of that, but some times things just happen. I dont blame SPL in any way for the problems their arms are having. I blame the tubing supplier. Kuah said a while ago that he had already found a new supplier for tubing.
