the 96-98 b heads lack velocity not volume. so increasing the volume will only hinder them if your not running hugh amounts of boost. n/a will be killed with porting. a polish job probably wont hurt. the pros on this would be bitemark46 and bvh. im sure theyll chime in.
A lot of people dont understand this on turbo set-ups. Velocity helps spool. You port the crap out of the heads and intake for flow (they think) and huge exhaust and it only kills bottom end power.
