I think the starter is bad in my mk2. The car wouldn't start at work but the starter would work just wouldn't turn the engine over fast enough. I've got the battery on a charger now and when I turn the key it won't make any noise from the starter. I did end up push starting the car and it started right up.

If anyone has a starter for cheap please let me know!
