To me, and its just my opinion so its not worth much, its too sharp of a flare, the edge almost points outward instead of downward. The flare on the S14 in the first pictures is a gradual flare that seems to grow out of the body and flow over the tire where as yours looks like what it is, someone with a jackhandle in their backyard. Both get the job done, one is more pleasing to the eye.
