Have you guys done a tune up on it yet? Plugs, wires, cap, rotor, fuel filter, oil change, all that good stuff? If that's eliminated and the bogging issue is kind of sporadic, you could look into the distributor possibly.

The bogging issue though, does it run fine, then when he gets on it, it hesitates then jerks and goes?
