I know that this was said to you on a different board, but have you considered any of the mcleod cluthes? I know that they are a bit pricey, but the rev-lock is not a bad clutch and for the money is not a bad deal. You could try the lt4 clutch or even one of the specs. I have an ls1 and have had a spec stage 3 carbon fiber one in the car for a year and all has held up well. I heard horror stories about them also, but have been happy up until now.
